The garden is open every day, but don’t forget our special events – we look forward to seeing you!
As part of the national Heritage Open Days event, we will be open on Saturday 12th September 2026, when there will be history tours of the warming room, plunge pool and garden shelter, as well as guided tours of the Physic Garden with a Medical Herbalist. The event will run from 10am to 4pm, with tours at intervals throughout the day, according to demand. There will be stalls with Herb Society information and herb related items for sale (cash only). Also refreshments for sale, and Physic Garden plants available for a donation.

Virtual Tours
For Open Days in 2020 we put together video tours of the buildings and garden, as well as a slideshow of archive photos, many never published before. These show how the ruined buildings and overgrown garden were rescued, restored and developed over the past twenty years.

By Car. Parking at Back Park St CW12 1EP. Walk to Bank St. Right turn onto Lawton St and immediately turn left onto Cole Hill Bank.
